Picky & The Tree

Tonight, amid all the ice and intermittent power outages, I decided to take some pictures of our Christmas tree.

Did you know that I live with two boys?

Two little, all-boy, boys?

Well, I do. They are pretty fantastic, but photos never really turn out as planned. Here you'll see two super cute pictures of Noah and our tree.

Tell me which one you think I love the most.

*****

Tonight, I am thankful for warmth. For electricity, and heat. I'm thankful for my sons who love me more than I deserve, and for all the light they bring to my world. God, thank you for Noah, who is perfectly wonderful and full of love and anticipation of nothing but good. Help me to be exactly like that.

LOL! I love it, Piper. You got to love those moments because you can't possibly stage that with a kid that age. So funny. How great that you captured it on film, too. Hope you are thawing. We were supposed to get ice in central IL today, but it rained, melting a lot of the snow we already had and now freezing over tonight making it yucky. I would rather have snow any day.
KEEP BELIEVING

Your tree looks beautiful!
Personally, I'm all about the nose miner picture. That's precious.
Bless you in all you do.

Glad that you making it through the power outages and such. Being without electricity really blows.

Laughing at your nose picker. I am reminded of my youger son. We went apple picking a few years back there was a pig pen near the apple orchard. It really was pretty bad. He took matters into his own hands as kid can....

Too Funny

lol- I taught my godson to put his digit in his nose to get a laugh when he was little. Nothing like sophisticated humor.

It's not only boys who dig unashamedly in their noses! My girls are just as bad. You should use the Picking picture in your Christmas card. Ha!

The old finger up the nose!! I know it well. My four year old has absolutely no shame in shoving her finger up there whenever the mood strikes her!

He is so darn adorable!

Ah, how I understand! I have 4 boys in this house and the poop and fart jokes never stop! Such a cutie though. Love your gratitude, Piper. You make me grateful too.

Now, it's funny why kids like to be pickers. Great tree and great photos too.

BTW, my roommate and I have the big curly ribbons on our tree, too, except ours are red. I think we might even have some of the same Santa ornaments!!! I will have to post a pic of my tree so we can compare :)

Bwahahaha! I'm going with picture number two. Those are the pictures you need to save for eternity and maybe possibly use as blackmail when he's a teenager.

I have an all boy, boy as well. The pictures I get!

Love it. Having two strong-willed girls like us makes for some interesting photos as well. :)
